This place is extraordinarily mediocre. Decent food, sub par atmosphere. They seem like they're trying to be upscale but failing. One example, I ordered an old fashioned here and a sweet, red concoction was handed to me. This place kind of fits on Broad.
MoreAmazing
We're locals, so we don't visit too many bars on Broad, but this took us by surprise. Great service, drinks, and food!
MoreGreat spot! Bartenders and waitresses are awesome. Drinks and food are phenomenal!
MoreCame here on New Years day and had a phenomenal experience. Despite the heavy traffic, service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for a casual meet up with friends.
MoreGood brunch
The wait staff was inattentive despite the restaurant itself being nearly empty (there was my party and two other tables occupied). My order (which was just a stock menu item, no substitutions) also came out incorrect. The food itself was OK, but I do not plan on returning based on this experience.
MoreIt was good. I never thought to put duck in mac and cheese but I'm hooked. I didn't like the steak but all in all everything was great will visit again if I'm in the area of philly
MoreWatched the SUPERBOWL there
Tim Mälzer🕵👌nice burger
The food was ok but very small selection & portions. My waffle had holes in it. I would have complained but it was a to go order and didn't see it until I got home. Disappointed
MoreCome here once in a while, always for brunch. People panning it on here seem to be looking for some "elevated" Center city dinning experience. This is more of a comfort food-ish menu so don't go looking for something high class and then rip the place. 4 stars though because I did enjoy it more when they had the funky vibe of fruity pebbles French toast and the pork roll egg rolls. Also loved the tater tots with cream chipped beef. Hopefully they bring back a little fun to the menu for warmer weather.
MoreMac n' cheese....with duck!
Such a great spot for brunch before a show.
First time ever having chicken and waffles and it won't be my last
Really good bruch spot. The amount of pork roll options on the menu was amazing.
Great food, great service!
Legitimate gluten free food, gluten free bread and buns. The burgers were delicious! Staff was wonderful
MoreWell, we were excited for this experience but we Pete all get down. Being an out of towner with my Philly friends they had also never been. No greeting when we arrived and service was poor at best. Water cups were dirty( obvious lipstick stain still present) and the reaction Tina request for new cups was bitter. When all made the decision to leave based on the service and only drank the water. The redeeming factor prior to departure was the quality of water .
MoreThe Stocks French Toast (made with pound cake instead of bread) is one of our usual go to items, (switched out the chocolate chips for berries in the picture). The outside seating is nice, but I'd probably request indoor or by the windows if it's going to be hot because the sun will be right over you for brunch. This location just opened so I'm interested to see how the menu develops!
MoreThe food and service was great.
You have to try the chicken and waffles! Mildly tangy and sweet at the same time, good stuff!
MoreNice staff. Good
Delicious food!
Amazing burgers...maybe the beta I've had around d the city. Duck fries were really good. Service was great. Beer list could be better but not terrible
MoreThis place was ok for Saturday brunch, nothing that blew me away. I opted for the duck benedict (see picture) which intrigued me with the cherry-sriracha hollandaise, but the sauce didn't pack the flavor I was expecting. One of the poached eggs was nearly cooked through. They also didn't carry jelly or jam for toast, which I thought as odd. This being said, I did finish my meal. The decor is bright and clean (the white marble with warm woods is a nice look). I'd come back if I were in a pinch for a last minute brunch spot, but the food didn't wow me.
Morethe fries are everything.
The burger and fries hit the spot and the bartenders were friendly. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other items on their menu, although I still want to give their original location a try too. This location is definitely more convenient so it was an easy way to finally try Blue Duck.
MoreDelicious junk *ehm* "soul food, decent beer selection and oh-so convenient to stop by after a show at Kimmel or Academy of Arts.
Moreokay.hold on,The Blue Duck on Broad at 220 S Broad St is the most charming bar this side of the Schuylkill has ever seen. And I means it ! Their signature duck fries will have you quacking for more. Their brussels sprouts with beautiful crunchy almonds sprinkled on top will make you giggle in bliss! As if this pairing wasn't already juicy enough, Blue Duck tops off this trifecta with their tender sweet sliders.I came expecting a duck, and by lord I left with a goose!10 out of 10, WOULD recommend. My compliments to the staff, the kitchen, and our lovely server.- Rizzy Rae
MoreSo good! Just go, get the duck fries or anything on the menu, you won't regret it.
MoreMedicore food,
Duck Fries are awesome!!!
I had the Charred Broccoli Caesar. The portion was small and the dressing was lightly drizzled which left most of the salad dry.
MoreWe love the northeast restaurant so we decided to check this out. We were disappointed. The atmosphere isn't what we normally like. The food was mediocre. I ordered fried chicken. I got 2 wings and a leg for $21. Yes really. The leg was under cooked at that. It was really not what I hoped for. And by the way. It was 3 pieces of chicken and some garnish no sides. No veggies. Don't think I'll be repeating.
MoreLove the atmosphere, the bartenders are very personable
They only carry bottles of beer. It was crowded, no room to sit at the bar
Great Mac & Cheese dinner after the Bill Murray show the other night.
Porkroll burger and duck fries on point
Terrible service. Bad food. Bad atmosphere. This place won't last
One of my favorite burgers in the city!
Food was great and the prices are very fair for the area
Food was great. Service was ok. Server was super casual and borderline unprofessional
